How To Remove Yourself from a Twitter List

As you've probably already noticed, Twitter gives you the possibility to organize the people you follow into "lists". This doesn't only make it easier for you, it also shows up on the profile of the (undoubtedly) fine people you've chosen to include in that particular category. Just the other night though, somebody added me to a list which had spam written all over it, so it got me thinking: what if you end up being listed somewhere you'ld rather not be?

At the moment, Twitter does not offer you the possibility to remove yourself from lists being created by other people. So if someone decides to add you to his/her "utterly ridiculous idiots"-list, there's not much you can do about it. However, as for most things on the internet: there's a workaround you can follow to avoid such awkward situations.

Here's what you do:
1.Click the list you've been added to
2.Find the user who created the list
3.Block this user
4.Unblock
5.You're done!

I tried it, and it worked for me. So next time you're lucky enough to be elected part of "easy-money-4-u", at least you'll know what to do!
